Man! He turned on a dime. Couldnt have beeb better if there were a street in the air. And then the touch down was perfect too. Now thats a pilot

the first time you do this approach it’s really exciting. After that, it’s just another approach.

Wow! Now that’s a skilled artist. Wouldn’t be surprising if, like so many commercial aircraft pilots, he had been a military fighter pilot previously.

u guys nuts? airplanes these days land using auto-pilot and gps system..there’s a radar called approach and when the pilot reaches it’s range then autolanding is activated and auto-pilot makes the final turn. The only thing the pilot has to do is to manage the speed. Besides landing a plane manually is greater risk than automatically cause if something goes wrong while autolanding the pilot isn’t held responsible

Hahah. you know nothing about planes.
Here in Kai Tak, Theres no such thing as autolanding when ;anding in Runway 13.
Why? Runway 13 is not equip with ILS, Its equip with a modified one, this IGS will guide the plane to the checkerboard hill, once the pilot has the runway, then he makes a right turn to the runway , it maybe steep like this one to the runway. And btw, the autopilot cant do all the pilots work. Autopilots do have limits like pilots (:

Yea thats not quite how it works buddy. Study up on your air traffic control books.

They are flying this manually. Look up cockpit videos from kai tak.

From Wikipedia.
the pilot needed to make a 47° visual right turn to line up with the runway and complete the final leg. Typically the plane would enter the final right turn at a height of about 650 feet (200 m) and exit it at a height of 140 feet (43 m) to line up with the runway.
Due to the turn in final approach, ILS was not available for runway 13 and landings had to follow a visual approach. This made the runway unusable in low visibility conditions.
